Today was the day to discuss finances & payment options with the hospital since I no longer have maternity insurance. I was very pleasantly surprised with the fact that we probably made the right decision not to get it. The total is a little less than what we would have paid in insurance premiums/deductibles the past year.
We also had our first ultrasound today. I have been a nervous wreck. It's so hard the first few months when there are no real signs of pregnancy. The nausea has started to subside and really wasn't too bad to begin with. I read on one blog that you lose your innocence concerning pregnancy when you have had a miscarriage. That's so true. I felt better after I could feel Hadley moving, but never completely relaxed until she was here. Then, a whole new set of worries came over me. HA HA! It was so fun to see our little one. Here are a couple of pictures we got today at our visit.

I am measuring 11 weeks so that puts me at November 2nd. Dr. Jody said we'll still use November 6th as my due date, but we'll schedule the C-section about a week before. He said as soon as I hit 39 weeks this little booger can come on out! Woohoo!
We gave Hadley one of the ultrasound pictures. She was so cute. She kept saying, "dats my budder or sisser." Then, for some reason she chose to put the picture in her shirt for safe keeping. I love that kid!!! She keeps us laughing.

Oh, yay! Sweet baby!!! I really need to know if this is a boy or a girl. I've got a blanket to make. Come on, can you find out? I'm waaaaay too impatient to wait 9 more weeks. (I'm really excited for y'all!)
So excited for you and I know exactly how you feel. Even though I am feeling the baby move now, I still feel anxious at times. I'll feel much better when it has arrived :)
